Southcoast Farmers Market at 35 Rosebrook

Updated: Aug 19, 2020

Please join us for the second season of the Southcoast Health Farmers’ Market at 35 Rosebrook!

Our Thursday afternoon market features fresh, locally grown produce from Steven’s Farm Stand of Rochester and Back Azimuth Farm of Middleboro. This week’s offerings include tomatoes, corn, squash, cucumbers, greens, herbs, potatoes, peppers, carrots, onions, scallions, garlic scapes, sour gherkins, and more! Some vendors accept Snap, WIC, and HIP benefits.

Specialty vendors include Debbie’s Handmade Soaps; Nautical Creations, offering handmade rope items including sailors bracelets, dog accessories, and items for the home and boat; The Petal Gypsy with fresh flowers, succulents, and more. Unique crocheted items, including hand towels, gloves, and potholders, are offered by Christine Albert.

Special guests and vendors will be added throughout the season.

The market is a partnership between Southcoast Health and the A.D. Makepeace Company. In addition to bringing fresh produce and specialty items to the area, the sponsors of the market donate $200 per week of fresh produce from their farmers to the Damien’s Food Pantry. Damien’s serves the greater Wareham area with food, education, resources. Learn more here.

The market is held weekly at 35 Rosebrook Place, Thursdays from 3 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. All guests are required to follow safety guidelines posted, including the wearing of a face covering. This is a rain or shine market, but in cases of severe weather, the market may be shortened or canceled. Follow our Facebook page for regular updates.
